The US crypto reserve is expected to be unveiled at the first White House crypto summit on Friday, with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick saying that Trump is interested in the strategic reserve of bitcoin, other tokens may be treated differently, and he revealed that bitcoin will be given "unique status" under Trump's plan. Howard Lutnic added: "Bitcoin strategic reserves are of interest to the president. He talked about it during the campaign and I think you'll see it executed on Friday, so bitcoin is one thing, other currencies, other crypto tokens, I think, will be treated differently - positive but different"
