Marion Laboure, an analyst at Deutsche Bank, said: "Without clear details on Trump's bitcoin reserve plan, volatility in cryptocurrencies is likely to remain high. Timing, funding and allocation are uncertain. Markets are cautious, looking at gains if the plan makes progress and losses if it stalled."
