Mr. Trump's meeting with the Washington Business Roundtable will include chief executives from across the country, including the heads of Wall Street's financial giants, according to people familiar with the talks. Mr. Trump's victory sparked optimism among banking leaders early on, but doubts about his policy path have deepened as tariffs hit the ground and fears of an economic slowdown have mounted. Mr. Trump said last week that there could be a "correction period" after tariffs take effect. The Business Roundtable is currently chaired by Cisco Systems, Inc. CEO Chuck Robbins, board members include JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser and other financial heavyweights.
