Google announces $32 billion all-cash acquisition of cyber security firm Wiz

Google has announced that it will acquire cyber security company Wiz for $32 billion in all cash. Wiz will join Google Cloud after the acquisition is completed. Google said the acquisition is an important investment in two of the growth trends of the era of artificial intelligence - cloud security and multi-cloud usage capabilities, and aims to strengthen Google Cloud's competitiveness in the field of cyber security. Wiz's products will continue to operate normally and are available on all major cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Platform.
