Pentagon-approved blockchain firm Constellation launches "digital evidence" compliance system
Constellation Network, a US blockchain infrastructure company that has been working with the US Department of Defense on the Iron SPIDR project for six years, has launched a "Digital Evidence" system based on blockchain technology to provide law enforcement and public service agencies with a tamper-proof data storage solution.
The system can be applied to data collection in scenarios such as police vehicles and firefighting equipment, and is integrated with Panasonic TOUGHBOOK equipment. Constellation says the technology can help organizations reduce compliance costs, and its generated "smart authentication" markers can improve data credibility. The system is currently being tested in several pilot scenarios, including areas such as public safety, retail analytics, and intellectual property protection.
