Solana Network's transaction fees totaled 53,800 SOL last week, a decrease of 10% month-on-month.

The total transaction fees generated by the Solana network last week were only 53,800 SOL, the lowest weekly figure since September 2024. The data shows that the total transaction fee last week decreased by 10% compared to the previous week, which is an improvement from the average weekly decline rate of 25% in the past six weeks. Notably, Solana's weekly transaction fee has decreased by 85% from the all-time high of 361,000 SOL in the fourth week of January (during the issuance of TRUMP and MELANIA memes). Since the launch of TRUMP, Jito validator tips have also dropped significantly, averaging just $11,300 per day last week, compared to $62,000 per day on the day of the $TRUMP launch. Similarly, the 7-day moving average of the number of active addresses on the Solana network has also declined by 35% over the period. The decline in these fundamental metrics has affected the price of the SOL token, which has fallen by about 50% since January 20. Pump.fun, Solana's main revenue and token generation platform, experienced a similar decline. Last week, only 0.89% of Pump.fun created tokens per day "graduated" to Raydium, compared to 1.6% per day in the third week of January. This 0.71% drop is relatively significant considering the hundreds of thousands of tokens created by Pump.fun every day.
